About

I make arguments that shouldn’t need to be made. Shame on you for not already believing what I believe.

“Pax Ardentia” is a made-up and likely poorly conjugated phrase (what do I know about Latin? I grew up in the ’90s in east Cleveland). “Pax” means peace, and “ardentia” is a form of my favorite English word, loosely translated “burning” or “passionate.” I’ll leave you to tease out the rich poetic and philosophical meanings engendered by the juxtaposition of the two concepts.

Note, 12/8/15: It occurred to me that everything I have named since July 2014 (viz., my baby and my sole proprietorship, in addition to this blog), have related names. I’m either committed to a theme or deeply unimaginative.
